Rengoku declares his resolve at the start of the battle against Lower Moon One, Akaza, on the Mugen Train. With over two hundred sleeping passengers behind him, he locks onto Akaza and refuses to yield even an inch.

“I WON'T LET ANYONE HERE DIE!”

ここにいる者は誰も死なせない！！

Spoken moments after declaring his duty. Rengoku makes an explicit promise about the over two hundred passengers asleep on the Mugen Train. The line crystallizes his moral code as a Hashira — protection is absolute, not conditional.

“KEEP YOUR HEART BURNING, GRIT YOUR TEETH AND MOVE FORWARD.”

From Rengoku's final words. Following 'Stand tall and be proud,' he gives the survivors a sequence of plain imperatives — burn your heart, grit your teeth, face forward. The line provides the title-image of the Mugen Train film and is one of the most repeated lines in the franchise.

On board the Mugen Train, Rengoku is introduced eating an absurd amount of bento, exclaiming 'Delicious!' between bites. Tanjiro and the others are left at his table, unable to start a conversation. The line — repeated over and over panel by panel — became one of the most widely shared comic-relief images of the franchise and a recurring meme overseas.
